Scales. Video and Interactive Installation. These are works in progress, I have been developing work in performance, video installations that use Pure Data computer program and sensors to build interactive spaces. In these works I am using double projections of video works using scales. In such performance to camera videos different properties of weight are compared with the weight of viewers in the exhibition space, however natural laws of physics are abstracted through technology. Our perception of simple physical properties and measures are challenged as is our belief and validity in this technological information. These experiments address issues of control, boundaries and individuality that our modern environment and technology raises/questions. |
